Vest-Ed Interest
Former MIT President Charles Vest took a special interest in the explanation by life scientist Paul Adams (above left) at Beamline 5.0.1 of the Advanced Light Source during a visit on Monday. Vest, who Tuesday delivered a Clark Kerr lecture on campus, spent several hours at Berkeley Lab, meeting with Director Steve Chu and hearing about science like the protein crystallography research demonstrated here.
