Chief Financial Officer Jeffrey Fernandez has announced the appointment of Anil More as manager of operations for the Office of the CFO. "Anil will play a major role in developing, planning, and managing all operational aspects of the OCFO," Fernandez said. "He will have oversight for major organizational functions, including strategic planning and execution, which includes oversight of major initiatives." For Anniversary Exhibit

E.O. Lawrence's first cyclotron

One of the ways to celebrate the many achievements recorded over the past 75 years at Berkeley Lab is to exhibit historic records of those achievements. As part of this year's anniversary program, the Lab would like to display memorabilia and artifacts representative of the Lab's distinguished scientific legacy in the Building 50 Lobby museum. Those who have possible items to loan should contact Ron Kolb in Communications and let him know what is available. The redesigned lobby exhibit will debut this spring.

Disaster Volunteers
Needed at Health Clinic

Berkeley Lab's Health Services needs to identify persons willing to help in the Building 26 clinic following a disaster. Depending on your training, you may be asked to help with communications, move patients or perform first aid. If you are willing to help, contact Wendy Corr, and include any medical skills, training and experience you have.
