Workstation Support, Storage Rates Changed

In order to ensure that IT User Support rates reflect the changing costs of providing the services, the following rate changes are effective April 1, 2007:

Time and Materials (T&M) Support

  • UNIX Support has instituted a T&M (Time and Materials) $50 per incident fee for systems not covered by a Service Level Agreement (SLA), and dropped the hourly rate from $121.00 to $110.00.
  • The $50 per incident fee for Mac/PC support is unchanged.  The hourly rate has increased from $100 to $110.
  • High Priority T&M requests for both Unix and  Mac/PC support will continue to be charged 1.5 times the regular rate.
  • Hourly printer repair rates have increased from $75 to $90.
  • The handling fee for parts purchases was previously discontinued.

UNIX storage for mail, disk space and web storage will all be reduced from $1.25 to $0.55 per megabyte per month.
