Do-or-Die at Yucca Mountain
By David Ewing Duncan

The regulatory tug-of-war over Nevada's nuclear waste dump has dragged on for decades. Meanwhile, temporary sites across the country are overflowing with radioactive fuel rods - making them perfect targets for terror. As the debate continues, Berkeley Lab is responsible for hydrological and thermal-hydrological-chemical testing and modeling at Yucca Mountain’s Exploratory Studies Facility. Read the full story here.
