To the Laboratory Community,

This letter is to let you know that I will be leaving Berkeley Lab and joining SLAC as their COO and ALD for Operations. I am keenly aware of my separation pain as I leave this wonderful place.

As some of you know, I have been privileged to serve Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory for about 34 years.  That is longest relationship of choice that I have had in my life.  Berkeley Lab is a great Institution that has and will continue to contribute much to this globe that we share. I will always value my role in supporting the quest of both basic scientific knowledge and the improvement of the human condition.

Fortunately, I will be able to continue to participate in such quests at SLAC.  I look forward to continuing to serve our shared mission and thriving in our ongoing relationship.
