Lab Terrain Too Dangerous for Personal Electric Transporters

Effective immediately, the Lab has updated its Operation and Parking of Motor Vehicles and Bicycles policy in RPM §1.04. Because of the steep terrain, all skateboards, scooters, electronic personal assisted mobility devices (such as Segways), and in-line skates are prohibited from operating on Laboratory property. The prohibition of electronic personal assisted mobility devices follows an accident that occurred May 16 on Cyclotron Road.
