Direct Deposit of Payroll Funds May Be Delayed

The Lab's Chief Financial Officer has announced that due to the bank holiday today (Veteran's Day), several banks failed to transfer money into employee banks accounts for the bi-weekly payroll. They have received reports that several of the smaller banks (such as Bank of the West and credit unions) did not live up to the bank regulations requiring deposits the day before a bank holiday. The money will be deposited into the employee's bank accounts on Monday, Nov. 14. The CFO regrets any inconvenience this may cause.
