Engineering Analyst Recovering from Auto Accident

From the Engineering Division —

Many Laboratory employees are aware of the sad news concerning Laboratory employee Lisa Rebrovich - Principal Resource Analyst with the Laboratory's Engineering Division.

Last Thursday, May 23, while traveling on Interstate 80, Lisa Rebrovich, her husband Greg, and their two daughters were struck by an out-of-control vehicle that crossed over the divide from the opposite side of the freeway.

Lisa and one of her daughters remain under hospital care. Lisa's other daughter has been treated and released to family members. Lisa's husband did not survive his injuries.

The entire Laboratory community shares this most profound and tragic loss, and we grieve with the entire Rebrovich family. We offer our deepest sympathy to Lisa and her two daughters.

Out of respect for privacy and confidentially, and to promote recovery, the Rebrovich Family requests that her Laboratory colleagues do not attempt to visit or call Lisa or her daughter in the Hospital - or attempt to visit or call the Family residence. The Rebrovich Family requests that no flowers, balloons, or gifts of any kind be sent.

The Rebrovich Family welcomes your expressions of sympathy and your wishes for recovery for Lisa and her daughters. Cards and letters may be sent to the Laboratory Engineering Division Office MS 46A1123. The Engineering Division will forward these on to Lisa and her family.

A trust fund has also been established to help fund the future educational expenses for Lisa's children - as well as to help cover the more immediate and unexpected expenses resulting from this tragic event. Donations may me made at any Wells Fargo Bank Branch, Account #9269087871 "Fund for Lauren Nicole and Samantha Carol Rebrovich". Donations may be made in any amount.
