Analyst Lisa Rebrovich Thanks Lab For Support

Principal Analyst Lisa Rebrovich of the Engineering Division and her family suffered injuries in an automobile accident on May 23. In the following e-mail message, she provides an update on her health and that of her children, and expresses thanks to the many Berkeley Lab employees who have offered their assistance and support:

To the Employees at Berkeley Lab:

Samantha, Lauren and I would like to thank everyone for their support during these hard times. All the cards, the gifts for the children, the flowers, the donations into the children's trust fund, and most important "the prayers" for us are greatly appreciated. There are so many good people that work at LBNL and I am so thankful to have such great support from the employees and friends at LBNL.

From a physical standpoint, I am finally getting better. I have been eating, slowly but surely, solid foods the last 3 weeks. It is so nice to be able to eat solid foods again.  My ribs are about 99% healed. Samantha goes on August 2 to have her leg x-rayed again and we are hoping that her break will be completely healed.  Lauren is doing well. Her cast came off about 3 weeks ago.

The girls and I are all getting professional help to deal with the loss of Greg and what we went through in terms this terrible accident.  We are experiencing a lot of change and are trying to deal with it by taking one day at a time.

Again, I would like thank everyone for their support and am planning on visiting some time soon.

Thank you.
Lisa Rebrovich
