Deputy Director for Operations Sally Benson today announced
a reorganization of the laboratory’s publishing, creative
services and AV support for conference rooms. This is a result
of the Operations and Information Technologies and Services
(ITSD) continuous improvement process to provide better Lab
                    services at reduced cost.
Effective Tuesday, the Lab’s publishing and creative
services responsibilities moved from the ITSD-Technical and
Electronic Information (TEID) organization to the Public Affairs
Department, where they will be consolidated into a new Creative
Services Office (CSO). Existing services will continue to
                    be provided.
Audio-visual services for conference rooms will now be limited
to the Building 50 auditorium, Building 66 auditorium and
Perseverance Hall, and will continue to be provided by ITSD
through its Networking and Telecommunications Department.

These changes were the result of a study group commissioned
by Benson and ITSD Division Director Sandy Merola and chaired
                    by Michael Banda.
