Avoid Having Your Network Access Blocked
Employees
with Windows NT, 200, XP or Server 2003 systems that
are still vulnerable to the Windows ASN.1 library as
of this Thursday will have their network access blocked.
Users can go here
to obtain the hot fix for their system. For assistance
in obtaining and/or installing the fix, or to unblock
systems, contact the Help
Desk.
Password Registration Process Simplified
To help new employees start using Lab services like email and calendar more quickly, ITSD and the Site Access Office have collaborated to make the assignment of "LDAP" passwords. New employees who report to the site access office in Building 65A to get their ID badges will also be assigned a temporary LDAP password.
