DOE-Funded Projects
Win 35 R&D Awards

Secretary of Energy Spencer Abraham announced that researchers at DOE laboratories, including Berkeley Lab, and companies with research funded by DOE have won 35 of the 100 awards given this year by R&D Magazine for the most outstanding technology developments with commercial potential. Go here to read the DOE press release.

Runaround Volunteers Needed

Want all the fun of Berkeley Lab’s October 10th Runaround without the runaround? Volunteers are needed to work the finish line, which allows Berkeley Lab employees to participate if they choose not to cover the course on foot. Added benefits are listening to the music at the finish line and a free T-shirt. For more information, contact Runaround coordinator Stephen Derenzo at [email protected] or x4097.
