It takes place on Monday, Nov. 15, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in Building 7-211. Registration is required and lunch will be provided.

EnergyDOE Update: Lab's Home Energy Score Program Launched

Vice President Biden joined Energy Secretary Steven Chu to announce the launch of the Home Energy Score pilot program this week. The Home Energy Score will offer homeowners useful and actionable information about their homes’ energy efficiency. A report provides consumers with a home-energy score between 1 and 10 along with a list of recommendations for home energy upgrades and other useful tips. Home Energy Score will be tested in 10 communities across the country, and a national launch is expected later next year. The Environmental Energy Technologies Division used the same underlying engine used for the Home Energy Saver to create the Home Energy Score program. More>
