Just One Click for So Much More; TABL Moves to Website Format

TABL

As announced late last month, Today at Berkeley Lab will become a web-based publication. The switch is scheduled for Monday, Nov. 15. Staff will still receive a daily e-mail with headlines for the day’s top stories, which will link to the TABL website. It’s just one click, but readers will get so much more. Among the benefits: posting of news as it is generated, instead of once a day; quick correction or removal of articles; collecting stories under commonly used tags (i.e. HR or safety); and posting of the day’s calendar events. Go here to see a preview of the new site. More>

Wellness: November is National Family Caregiver Month

The Health Care Facilitator wants to remind employees that November is “National Family Caregiver Month.” Currently, there are more than 65 million family caregivers in this country. They become the people most familiar with their recipients’ medicine, exercise, treatment and dietary regimen. Based on daily demands, the role of a caregiver can become stressful. It is important to recognize your strengths and limitations, protect your own health, and reach out for assistance. More>
