Beginning Feb. 26, the new training requirements will be implemented, but the new training expiration date will be set to the employee’s previous completed LOTO training date taken before Sept. 30, 2009 (either EHS0256 or EHS0258, whichever is more recent). For example, if you took EHS0256 in June of 2009, you will not be due to take the new training requirements until June of 2010. To help prevent LOTO training from expiring, follow the guide below for when to take the new training requirements.
Which class do you need?
* If you completed EHS0256 after Sept. 30, 2009, you need to take EHS0359 before Feb. 26, 2010.
* If you completed EHS0258 after Sept. 30, 2009, you need to take both EHS0358 and EHS0359 before Feb. 26, 2010.
* If your current training, EHS0256 or EHS0258, has expired or will expire before Feb. 26, 2010, you need to take both EHS0358 and EHS0359 before Feb. 26, 2010.
* If your current training, EHS0258, will expire between Feb. 26, 2010 and Sep. 30, 2010, you need to take both EHS0358 and EHS0359 when your training expires.
